This class is intended for students at all levels of experience and confidence. Students are encouraged to find their creative expression as they explore different subjects and experiment with techniques and media in a relaxed and non-judgmental environment.

As with all other MONART classes, critiques by fellow students or teachers are never allowed so that our studio remains a space where everyone feels comfortable trying new ideas or testing new skills. Beginning students receive guided instruction, and as they become familiar with the drawing technique, new media are introduced so that the visual effects of that media may be explored. Students develop drawing skills and their own creative approaches to subjects at their own pace.
