Classes & Camps / Monart I - Ages 6 to 8 (1 hour)

Our MONART I class teaches the five Elements of Shape and introduces the MONART Method at an age-appropriate level. The class guides students in developing drawing skills while nurturing personal expression and creativity. Our studio provides a safe environment free of critique and competition in which young artists can feel comfortable taking chances in their work and exploring new ideas and media.

MONART I offers students the opportunity to work with a variety of media including markers, colored pencils, chalk pastels, and watercolors. The subject matter of the projects is varied and includes animals, the human form, architecture, landscape, still life, as well as the study of major movements in art history.
